From the artist, Kathleen Keifer:
"I have often thought that improvisation is a cornerstone of the artistic process. While at my studio in Notre Dame's Innovation Lab, I noticed hundreds of wooden shamrocks with the ND monogram as negative space. They are the byproduct of a best-selling Irish Woodworks product. I was able to work with the Irish Woodworks team to brainstorm a way to repurpose these otherwise landfill-bound frames for a select group of my signed open edition Notre Dame prints!"
This unique Gold Shamrock with Kathleen Keifer Print will be offered in a limited quantity for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Shamrock frame measures 11.5" x 12" and includes attached hanging hardware. The golden-oak stained shamrock is laser cut from birch. It is available in three prints:
- Notre Dame Crew Vision 2020
- Sailing Under White Scudding Clouds
- The Four Horsemen
Each print is hand-signed by the artist and securely attached to the back of the Gold Shamrock.
